The study conducted by ICF examines the policy, regulatory, economic, and knowledge barriers that may unintentionally discourage bringing natural gas service to multifamily dwellings; analyzes the extent of efficiency, emissions, and cost benefits that could result from increasing natural gas use in multi-family dwellings: and includes an overview of utility-led initiatives as examples of successful approaches for overcoming regulatory or policy barriers.
