The natural gas industry is presented with significant opportunities, but these opportunities are accompanied by significant challenges. This study examines whether traditional sources of natural gas supply from the lower-48 and Canada could grow over the 20 year period starting in 2002 without sustained upward pressures on gas prices that would reduce the attractiveness of gas as a fuel of choice for new energy uses.
